Holiday Picture Extravaganza!

Here are a whole bunch of pictures from the last month or so. The first is our new living room with our Christmas tree up. Even though we weren't going to be home for Christmas, I had to put it up.

Matty and Eric enjoying a bath with tons and tons of bubbles.

In front of our Christmas tree.

Matty with Mrs. Claus at his preschool Christmas program

Eric with Mrs. Claus. He wouldn't sit with her until she offered him a lollipop.

We flew out to California on the 16th of December to spend Christmas with my family. This is our rental car the morning after we got there.

Another picture of the snow.

Matty and Eric ready for church in front of Grandma's Christmas tree.

Brrrrr!!!!

The boys with Santa at Grandma and Grandpa's ward Christmas party.

The boys eating the humongous rice crispy treats from Santa.

We made sugar cookies and decorated them with Grandma Melanie. Eric decorated one and took a bite, but then decided he didn't like it because of the frosting. We gave him an unfrosted one and he ate the whole thing.

Matty sat with Grandma for hours decorating all of the cookies. He had so much fun.

Even Daddy pitched in- this is one of his "Mean Gingerbread Monster Boys". He also turned a Santa cookie into Blackbeard the Pirate.

The boys on Christmas Eve after opening their new PJ's and ornaments. Eric got Thomas jammies and a Thomas ornament. Matty got Cars jammies and a Dark Knight ornament.

Putting out cookies for Santa before going to bed.

Christmas morning. Matty's favorite present was his Leapster from Mommy and Daddy.

Eric's favorite present was from Tom and Kristy. They got him a Gordon train and a James train to go with his Thomas train set. Since the moment he opened them he has barely put them down. They have to sit at the table and watch him eat, and sit on the bookshelf and watch him sleep. Other than that, they are usually being carried around by him.

A few days after Christmas, we went bowling with Uncle Tom and Aunt Kristy and their new baby Wyatt. The boys had sooo much fun.

Here is our adorable new nephew Wyatt. He was born on December 15th. He wasn't all that interested in bowling.

Bowling totally wore the boys out.

We spent New Years Eve morning with my best friend Faith and her family. Here is Matty with Hazel and EmmaRose, two of Faith's three girls.

After having breakfast and visiting for a while we went into town and got ice cream at the drug store's soda fountain. Here's Matty and his bubble gum ice cream cone.

Here's all of us! Faith, her husband Lane, and their 3 girls- Lyla (2 months), Hazel (3 years) and EmmaRose (5 years), and then Mike and I with our little boys.

After parting with Faith, we spent the rest of New Years with my brother Doug and his wife Darci and their family. My little brother Jimmy and his wife Heather, and my mom and dad came over for a while too. Here is Matty and Doug's little boy Connor watching fireworks with Aunt Heather.

We left the morning of the 2nd to fly back home. It's really nice to be home but we miss everyone lots! It was wonderful to get to spend over two weeks visiting with everyone!
