Trick-or-Treat

Here are the boys on Halloween morning before we took Matty to preschool. Matty loves his skeleton shirt- it glows in the dark! Eric's shirt has Frankenstein on it and it says "Monster in Training".

Matty and Eric got to go trick-or-treating twice. The first time was on the 24th when we had our Halloween party at church. After the party we had trunk-or-treating out in the parking lot. The 2nd time was, of course, Halloween. I've put pictures from both nights on this post together. This year Matty decided he wanted to be The Dark Knight (the new Batman). Michael and I love that movie and we decided that Eric would make a perfect little Joker. Don't you agree? He won the Movie Star award at the Halloween party.

Mike tried to teach Eric to say "Why so serious" or "Lets put a smile on that face", but he never really did say either. Eric really liked wearing the make-up. The first time Mike put it on him, he was watching in the mirror and he kept laughing and saying "Ohhh. I scary!"

Matty was really proud of his costume and of Eric's too. While trick-or-treating, he would tell everyone that answered the door "Hi, I'm The Dark Knight, you know, Batman. And this is my baby brother. He's the Joker."While we were waiting to go out, they couldn't help but play the role of enemies. Looks like the Joker won this match!

Here are Matty and Eric with 5 of their cousins, 2 of their aunts, and Grandpa Mark. Before the trunk-or-treat.
After the trunk-or-treat.
And today we finally gave Eric a haircut (well, Grandma Cindy did, at least). We had been growing it out since July just for Halloween. The poor kid can finally see again!

Great costumes! I love that you have been growing Eric's hair out since JULY for this. :)
